What our Recreational Therapy Interns are saying
“The experience there was a great compliment to my educational experience. I was hands-on with the clients from the beginning. It was great to see how much time is spent out and on the go with community-based services. I was challenged to develop my own skills and find my flow as a RT while still being supported by my supervisor and given constructive feedback. I can’t say enough positive things about BST and the people that work there. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I can’t recommend BST enough!”
— Olivia Miller, 2023 intern
“This internship has allowed me to learn how to handle various types of clients and ways to address difficult situations. Through all of these situations I learned how to stay professional and the different ways to handle them. Thank you to everyone for being so welcoming and showing me the valve in being a recreational therapist.”
— Becka Bower, 2025 intern
“Recreation is not a luxury. It is a necessity for growth and joy which is what this internship has been to me.”
— Cynthia Bandora, 2025 intern
