  • Kelsey, CTRS

    Recreation Therapy Director

    Kelsey joined the BST team in June 2014 just after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She was named the Recreation Therapy Director in July 2021. She helped BST grow by aiding in the development of our brand new Recreational Therapy program and will continue those efforts as the director. Kelsey has experience with many different populations and looks forward to many more meaningful experiences. Kelsey serves St. Joseph County.

  • Jr, CTRS

    Recreational Therapist

    Jr. joined the BST team in May 2016 just after graduation from Indiana University with a degree in Recreational Therapy and a minor in Spanish and Psychology. Jr. has experience with many different populations including geriatrics, spinal cord injury, stroke, pediatrics, and rehabilitation setting, and helped run an adapted sports clinic for people with physical disabilities in Bloomington, Indiana. He is excited to help people in his community since he has lived in South Bend his whole life. Jr. will be serving in the South Bend, Granger, and Elkhart area.

  • Olivia, MSR, CTRS

    Recreational Therapist

    Olivia graduated from Indiana University with a Masters in Recreational Therapy after completing her internship with BST. She joined the BST team in September 2023. Olivia has many years experience working in sports, aquatics, and youth camps. Her most recent recreational therapy work was in a large group setting working with adolescents with psychiatric, developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. She is excited to utilize recreational therapy modalities to help clients on a one-on-one basis. In her free time, Olivia enjoys playing pickleball and fostering dogs.

  • Matthew, CTRS

    Recreational Therapist

    Matthew joined the BST team in September 2023 after graduating from Aurora University with a double major in Therapeutic Recreation and Human Animal Studies. Matthew has experience with many different populations. He moved from Illinois and is excited to start helping people in his new community.
